Queen Latifah has signed on to produce a family comedy titled “Kidnapped” starring James “Lil’ J.J.” Lewis.

The movie is based on a script penned by J. Alexander Smith and is being produced by Latifah’s company Flavor Unit along with Flavor Unit’s Latee French and Shakim Compere.

The movie centers around three children who are kidnapped after their parents hit the lottery and is directed by Ryan Smith and Frank Borin, who have shot videos for Eminem, Good Charlotte and Cypress Hill.

Flavor Unit has produced such flicks as “Bringing Down the House,” “Beauty Shop,” “Bad Girls,” “The Cookout” and others.
